Market again

My friend and I had another stint at yesterday's market, her to sell homemade products, flowers and plants and me to sell my books.

No one bought any of mine but a couple of people expressed interest in them, with one giving me her name for my next workshop.

Earlier that day I sold three copies to Tania, a woman I met at the last market, so although I had no sales at our stall, I was happy with the other.

I have already talked about the coincidence that happened at the last market in a previous blog, of a woman visiting from the Bay Of Plenty who had been been given my book to read two days previously. She lived next door to a friend of mine near Tauranga and was staying with another friend of mine while up this way.

Tania told me of a coincidence that happened with her.

Her friend, who lived three hours away, rang to ask if she could stay the night. When she arrived, Tania was reading my book. This friend had just attended my workshop.

The third person who had bought a book at that last market had given me some advice on the treatment of pericarditis, having seen quite a number of people with this condition following the vaccinations. I followed her directions, bought some Ibuprofen and within a week noticed that my chest pain had disappeared. Yay.

Although I didn't have any sales at yesterday's market, I was glad I had gone. I completed my Christmas shopping, had some good food, and caught up with people I hadn't seen for a while. All in all, a good outing. And who knows, those people I interacted with may result in more coincidences.
